I’m a couple of days behind with this week’s Anna and the French Kiss read along discussion questions. But, I’m sure Molli (Once Upon a Prologue) and Suz (A Soul Unsung) won’t mind.
Discussion Questions, Chapters 17 – 31
- At the end of what we read last, St. Clair asked Anna a question that could change their friendship. Would you answer the same way?
- Anna realizes in chapter 17 that she and St. Clair will both be spending their Thanksgiving break at school, basically alone. How do you think this changes their relationship?
- Anna and St. Clair’s relationship changes even more over the Christmas holiday. Do you think either of them realizes just how much?
- Anna has a big realization about her relationship with St. Clair at the end of chapter 30. Discuss!
- How do you think Anna will deal with her new feelings for St. Clair?
My Answers
- In the situation they were in, probably. I’m shy and I don’t like to rock the boat and I’d feel sorry for Etienne in his situation.
- I think it’ll help them grow closer as friends at least. But, I think it’ll make things a little awkward because of how they secretly feel about each other.
- I know Etienne is attracted to her and Anna is attracted to Etienne. They just don’t realize that the other is attracted to them because they’re too close to the situation. So, no, I don’t think they realize how much their relationship changes. But, I do think they both realize they’re each other’s best friend.
- It’s about time she realizes that she loves him! I just wish both of them realized they love each other!
- She’s going to stew over the fact that he’s taken and wish that he wasn’t taken. But, I don’t think she’ll make a move because she doesn’t know or want to admit that she knows deep down that Etienne feels the same way.
